Auto-evaluation
Le stage etranger a ete l'une des experiences les plus formatrices de mon cursus. Quitter sa zone de confort et se retrouver dans un environnement totalement nouveau est destabilisant mais incroyablement enrichissant.
La barriere linguistique, meme avec un bon niveau d'anglais, s'est revelee plus challengeante que prevu. Comprendre les accents locaux, les expressions idiomatiques, et communiquer efficacement en reunion demande une concentration intense au debut. Heureusement, cela devient plus naturel avec le temps.
Les differences culturelles dans le travail ont ete fascinantes. J'ai decouvert que ce que je considerais comme "la" maniere de travailler n'est qu'une maniere parmi d'autres, tout aussi valables. Par exemple, l'approche de la hierarchie, du feedback, ou de la gestion du temps peut etre radicalement differente.
Le choc culturel decrit theoriquement s'est bien manifeste. Apres les premieres semaines d'enthousiasme, j'ai traverse une periode difficile ou tout semblait complique et ou la nostalgie du "chez moi" etait forte. Heureusement, cette phase passe, et l'adaptation devient plus naturelle.
L'autonomie forcee par la distance a developpe ma maturite professionnelle. Ne pas pouvoir compter sur son reseau habituel oblige a se debrouiller, a oser poser des questions, et a prendre des initiatives.
Le reseau professionnel que j'ai construit est precieux. Les relations professionnelles internationales peuvent deboucher sur des opportunites futures, et simplement connaitre des personnes dans d'autres pays elargit enormement ma perspective.
Mon avis
Le stage etranger devrait etre obligatoire pour tout etudiant en ingenierie. L'experience internationale n'est plus un "plus" sur le CV, c'est une competence essentielle dans un monde professionnel globalise.

Cette experience a ouvert mon horizon professionnel. Je ne me limite plus au marche francais. Je sais maintenant que je peux travailler a l'international, que ce soit en tant qu'expatrie ou dans des equipes multiculturelles.
Elle m'a aussi fait realiser l'importance des soft skills : communication, adaptabilite, intelligence emotionnelle. Ces competences, souvent negligees dans la formation d'ingenieur, sont cruciales en entreprise, et encore plus dans un contexte international.
Recommandations pour futurs stagiaires :
- Preparez-vous : Renseignez-vous sur la culture du pays, apprenez les bases de la langue si differente de l'anglais
- Soyez ouvert : Suspendez le jugement, observez avant de conclure

Self Evaluation
The international internship was one of the most formative experiences of my curriculum. Leaving one's comfort zone and finding oneself in a completely new environment is unsettling but incredibly enriching.
The language barrier, even with a good level of English, proved more challenging than expected. Understanding local accents, idiomatic expressions, and communicating effectively in meetings requires intense concentration at first. Fortunately, this becomes more natural over time.
The cultural differences in the workplace were fascinating. I discovered that what I considered "the" way of working is just one way among many, all equally valid. For example, the approach to hierarchy, feedback, or time management can be radically different.
The theoretically described culture shock did indeed manifest itself. After the first few weeks of enthusiasm, I went through a difficult period where everything seemed complicated and where homesickness was strong. Fortunately, this phase passes, and adaptation becomes more natural.
The autonomy forced by distance developed my professional maturity. Not being able to rely on one's usual network forces one to figure things out, to dare to ask questions, and to take initiative.
The professional network I built is invaluable. International professional relationships can lead to future opportunities, and simply knowing people in other countries enormously broadens my perspective.

The international internship should be mandatory for all engineering students. International experience is no longer a "plus" on the resume -- it is an essential skill in a globalized professional world.
